Lost in the Woods

Some might say he should have looked to the heavens along time ago. Other will say and are saying that he is done. Yet others could care less. Me you ask? I say give the man a hug, look him in the eye and tell him to get his shit together. He owes nothing to any of his millions of fans. He owes everything to his family and friends and yet even more to himself. This is a man that has literally grown up in front of the public eye. He raised to be tough as nails with steel determination. The same qualities we loved so much about Mr. Woods when he was winning at a record pace, are the same qualities that people are claiming they hate.
He is holding steed fast to his privacy as much as he can. This determination, stubbornness, stupidity...what ever you want to call it is a direct result of the soul his parents help to mold. TW does know how to just BE. He has been everything to so many that he has never taken time to be or do for himself. Of course everything we think about the man is pure speculation and conjecture. Those that love him feel they have the answer for his life. Those that hate him feel that he is getting his just deserts. Anyone that has ever done wrong on a moral level and never been forgiven please raise your hand so that you be counted. Everyone deserves a second chance, except for certain types of criminals that hurt little kids!! I will never waiver on that feeling!!!
TW brought joy to every golfer's household. His fans loved to watch as he carved his way around the numerous golfing layouts in America and abroad. His haters loved to watch their favorites fall at Tiger's feet. This would allow them to bash him the next day while on the job at UPS stacking boxes. Either way Tiger affected everyone that watched him.
He brought more people to the game than any other golfer or person in history. Yes there are many great golfers and many legends in the game but none have ever had the pull on the game as Tiger has. Golf will survive without him, I do believe. But only if these young kids continue to win and it produces some true characters on tour. But if we go back to the straight laced CC golfers, it will fall apart.
The good news is that we will not have to see that for a while. Tiger will get it together and begin to win again. 2010 will be a thing of the past. He will move on and break records and hopefully he will be greater as man than he ever was as a golfer. He owes that to himself and no one else!
Once he figures that out he will be a better person which should make him an even better golfer. I'll cheer for him all day long, as well as the young guns coming on the scene, because I am a fan of golf and you should do the same.
